Mr. Asbenson joined Tellatin, Short & Hansen, Inc. in April of 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Asbenson worked for two years as a state registered appraiser in South Dakota.

Experience
Mr. Asbenson has two years experience as a residential appraiser with Asbenson Appraisals, LLC. While a state registered appraiser, he assisted with residential appraisals primarily for the purpose of refinance, purchase, and relocation.

Since joining Tellatin, Short & Hansen, Inc. he has provided professional assistance and business analysis on healthcare and senior housing assignments.

Education
At the University of South Dakota, Mr. Asbenson graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Mr. Asbenson is currently pursuing licensure as a certified general appraiser in the state of Oregon. He is an associate member of the Appraisal Institute, and he has completed the following Appraisal Institute courses: "Basic Appraisal Principles," "Basic Appraisal Procedures," "Basic Income Capitalization," "General Applications," "15-hour National USPAP," "Business Practices and Ethics," "Advanced Income Capitalization," "Highest & Best Use and Market Analysis," and "Advanced Sales Comparison and Cost Approaches."
