Mr. Fryday joined Tellatin, Short, Hansen & Clark, Inc. in August of 2006. From 2003 to 2006, he was a director at HealthTrust LLC, Portland Office, and performed senior's housing valuations, market studies and feasibility studies. At Cushman & Wakefield he was a senior housing appraiser in Valuation and Advisory Services from 2001 to 2003, and performed senior housing valuations and valuations of other property types. From 1994 to 2001 he was a senior appraiser for James Brown & Associates and performed healthcare and hospitality valuations. Between 1988 and 1994 he owned a construction company in Salem, Oregon, which focused on commercial and residential construction including remodeling and new construction. From 1976 until 1987 he owned and operated Time Square Jewelers in San Jose, California.

Experience
Mr. Fryday entered the commercial real estate appraisal industry in 1994, specializing in seniors housing and hospitality properties. Property types he has appraised included continuum of care retirement centers, independent living residences, assisted living residences, Alzheimer/dementia care residences, nursing homes, adult foster homes - elderly, motels and hotels, flex office/warehouse, vacant land, and adult foster homes - MRDD. Other property types appraised included child daycare centers, truck and trailer rental centers and shopping centers. Mr. Fryday is licensed general certified appraiser in the states of Oregon, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Michigan, Montana, and Washington, and has performed assignments in over 30 states. He appeared as an expert witness in the US Bankruptcy Court in Missoula, Montana.

Education
Mr. Fryday studied business administration at the City College of San Francisco, engineering in Foothill College, Los Altos, California, and law at Peninsula University in Mountain View, California. Mr. Fryday is an associate member of the Appraisal Institute and a MAI Candidate. In addition to the state required appraisal classes, he has completed the following Appraisal Institute courses: "Advanced Income Capitalization," "Highest and Best Use and Market Analysis," "Advanced Sales Comparison and Cost Approach," and "Standards of Professional Practice, Parts A and B."
