Employment
Ms Griffin joined Tellatin, Short & Hansen, Inc. in May 2008. Previously, she was employed by AKT, LLP as an international CPA firm. Prior to that, she also owned her own accounting and consulting business for 12 years.

Experience
Ms. Griffin comes to us with over 25 years of experience in the accounting field. She has done extensive work with companies in the construction industry, ranging from small sole proprietor specialty contractors to large multi-state corporations with total assets of in excess of 10 million dollars. Job cost accounting, equipment and employee costing are an integral part of her background. Her professional career includes working for or with a variety of computer consulting firms, CPA firms and management consulting companies to manage the flow of financial information throughout an organization.

Ms. Griffin has learned all facets of accounting from the ground up. While consulting with computer clients, she often had to understand how a company processed information manually, in order to advise them on how to automate. She started with managing different individual facets of accounting. Starting with being an accounts receivable supervisor, then moving on to managing accounts payable. After moving back to Oregon, at one point in her career she became a client payroll supervisor for a local CPA firm. However, putting all these puzzle pieces together in a concise easy to understand helpful management tool has been her passion for the last 15 years.

Through her various accounting positions she has also learned other helpful tools to assist owners in managing their business, these include; employee benefits management, retirement plan administration, human resources experience and end of year tax strategies.

We welcome her to our firm and believe she will be an innovative and dynamic part of our team and help us streamline our accounting projects and internal organizational needs.

Education
Ms. Griffin obtained an Associate Degree in Computer Science from St. Petersburg Junior College with a minor in Accounting in 1988.
