Employment
Ms. Kosich joined Tellatin, Short, Hansen & Clark, Inc., in January,
2000. Prior to that time, she was employed by Continental Wingate
Company for 12 years. The most recent six years were spent as a
commercial loan underwriter of conduit and Fannie Mae seniors
housing loans. She initially joined Continental Wingate to work in
the long-term care operations and development division. Prior to
joining Continental Wingate, Ms. Kosich worked for nine years at
Faulkner Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, as Director of Planning
and Marketing, as well as Administrator of the hospital's nursing
homes.
Experience
Ms. Kosich has worked in health care management since 1976. As a
licensed nursing home administrator, she has managed both
proprietary and non-profit facilities, has opened a newly
constructed facility, and has started a home care company. She has
conducted the due diligence and market studies for the construction
and acquisition of several nursing facilities in the New England
states. From 1994 to 2000, she was a conduit and Fannie Mae
commercial loan underwriter of first mortgages placed on a variety
of health care properties, including nursing, assisted living,
congregate care facilities and residential treatment facilities.
Since joining the firm, she has concentrated exclusively on the
appraisal of nursing and seniors housing facilities. Most
assignments have included an in-depth market analysis.
Ms. Kosich has assisted in the performance of appraisals in the
following states: CT, GA, FL, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NJ, NM, NY, OH,
PA, RI, SC, TX, VA, VT and WV.
State Licensure
Ms. Kosich is licensed as a certified general appraiser in her
domicile state of Massachusetts, as well as in New York, Ohio,
Connecticut, and Georgia. She is also a licensed nursing home
administrator in Massachusetts.
Education
Ms. Kosich received a Bachelor of Science degree from Brown
University in Providence, Rhode Island and an MBA degree in Health
Care Management from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Ms. Kosich is an MAI candidate and has completed all of the
required courses of the Appraisal Institute in pursuit of this
designation.
