Employment
Mr. Kruger joined Tellatin, Short, Hansen & Clark, Inc., in September of 2001. Prior to joining the firm, he was employed as an Investment Analyst in the Houston regional office of NorthMarq Capital, Inc., a national real estate investment banker. Before attending graduate school, Mr. Kruger formed and operated his own residential construction and development company.

Experience
Mr. Kruger has been involved in the real estate industry since 1991, and the commercial underwriting and appraisal sector since 2000. His experience encompasses a range of property types such as: industrial warehouse and distribution centers, freestanding retail facilities and shopping centers, nursing homes, apartments, and office buildings. Since 2001, the majority of his assignments have entailed the appraisal of nursing facilities. Most assignments have included an in-depth market analysis. The appraisals have functioned as support for clients in financing and internal review.
Mr. Kruger has conducted appraisals in the following states: CO, IL, KS, LA, MD, MI, MO, MS, NC, NE, NJ, OH, PA, VA, and WV.

State Licensure
Mr. Kruger is currently licensed as a general real estate appraiser in Michigan and Missouri.

Education
In 1991, Mr. Kruger earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Semitic Languages and Philosophy from the Potchefstroom University, South Africa.

In 1996, Mr. Kruger continued his education in the United States, and he graduated in 1999 with a Master of Arts in General Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.

In 2001, Mr. Kruger graduated with a Master of Land Economics and Real Estate (MLERE) from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. During this period, he was the recipient of several scholarships: The Appraisal Institute Education Trust Scholarship, The Alvin B. Wooten Endowed Scholarship, and The Fred Caldwell Scholarship (1999-2000).

The Appraisal Institute recognizes the MLERE program in lieu of most Appraisal Institute courses that are required for the MAI designation. Mr. Kruger has completed all the coursework required towards obtaining his MAI professional designation.
